Homemaking
A few days ago I made coco-chocolate granola from scratch and I have to say- it was DELICIOUS!!
I’ve always imagined myself as the mom who brings homemade cookies to the little league game, hosts Sunday dinners, and keeps a beautifully organized, decorated home.
As it currently stands, I don’t possess most of the skills of a great homemaker.
I’ve never made bread from scratch.
My elderberry syrupy currently tastes a little off.
And I have no decorations for holidays other than Christmas…
The situation isn’t ideal.
It’s going to take years of trial and error to become the woman I want to be because there is no roadmap for love. I say love and not homemaking because the home is just an extension of the character I want to possess, ya know?
At the end of the day I just want to be a thankful and Daughter, loving wife, caring mother, gracious sister, and compassionate friend.
If my home can be a reflection of my heart, then I’ve got everything I need.
XOXO,
Clark
